We're taking a break until the beginning of the year. Trying to juggle two businesses and do them both well without a reliable team in place has been DIFFICULT ! Many of the plans we have fall through time and again because Mindy and I can't do it on our own. We'll be taking about a year break to focus on hiring employees for our primary business so we can dedicate the time needed to give Mindy's Planet the love it deserves. Hopefully things will come together sooner than expected ! ⠀

Self-talk is sooooo important. You aren't your kids only influence but you're usually the most important. Much of this is learned behavior that got out of hand. What things do you say about yourself within earshot of your children ? How often ? Even when you think they're not listening or paying attention, they are. So there are no short cuts. Model for them what good self-talk looks like ✨ ⠀

Self-love looks like letting go and staying present. It's about understanding that when being around someone is intolerable or unfavorable you have the option to discontinue the relationship without explanation instead of trying to control their behavior.⠀

What comes out of your mouth shows what's constantly on your mind. Think of yourself fondly. Talk to yourself with kindness. Otherwise, you risk that negativity rubbing off onto your kiddos.⠀
